To all alleycats fanz,i would like to say somethin' about this 'Tribute Page' ! I realy don't wanna mention the last moment of Mr Loga.It's so painful to write the ending. so sad to see a brilliant ,multi talented singer,entertainer,musicians life end like this!

I just don't wanna say it from ma own! i'm still not that well to talk about it! i'm sorry...please don't put me in tears again!

However ,people are askin' me why i didin't put any words about loga's last moment?           then,i simply come out with this name,it's called 'Loga's  journey to heaven'                       Dear alleycats fanz,at last ,upon your request,i would like to do this page,so please ....Now,you are welcome to jode down some words for him......Thank you,

Grenville bein' with alleycats for 5 years. from year 1980-1984 . from the albun 'Dapatkah' ,'alleycats 4','Kuching' , '6 kucing' , 'alleycats 7'

KUALA LUMPUR: Keyboardist George Grenville Pereira, who was once a member of two Malaysian bands, the Falcons and Alleycats, passed away last night. He was 57 years old.
Pereira had been on life support at the University Malaya Medical Centre since Tuesday. He had earlier suffered a heart attack.

Pereira began his music career in the 1960s playing guitar with a band of blind musicians known as Junior Jets in Penang, and performed on television when he was only 14 years old.
In late 1969 he joined the Falcons.
He joined popular group Alleycats in 1979 and performed with them for several years.

 Songwriter Loloq dies - Wednesday January 30, 2008

PETALING JAYA: Award-winning songwriter Rosli Khamis, better known as Loloq, died at the Damansara Specialist Hospital here on Wednesday, following an operation on Monday to remove a blood clot in his brain.

Loloq, 50, frequently collaborated with singer, songwriter and composer M. Nasir.

Among Loloq's famous songs are Andalusia and Bonda (performed by M. Nasir) .Loloq also composed many songs for the legendary band the Alleycats.                                                     

The song Demi Semangat Kesukanan which was sung by Lynn Ali for the 2001 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.

The Singapore-born songwriter also acted in films such as Zombi Kampung Pisang, Embun, Senario Lang Buana and Man Laksa. Apart from writing the script for the films Orang Minyak and the soon-to-be-filmed Aduh Saliha he was also a judge and critic on reality TV shows Bintang Kecil and Akademi Fantasia.

Loloq is survived by wife Hariah Yaacob and three children - Krsty Nur, 11, Jaevn Nur, 8 dan Yasha Nur, 6.

He was buried Wednesday at the Muslim cemetery in Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh.

Penulis lirik yang berasal dari Singapura itu meninggal dunia pada pukul 1.37 petang akibat pendarahan otak.

 The Fabulous Falcons - Rocky Teoh

Voice from the past. Most of Rocky Teoh's albums were recorded over 40 years ago in the 1960's. He died tragically in a car accident on 9 September 1990. This was coincidently the date on which Elvis Presley made his debute performance in the Ed Sullivan Show in 1956.

Rocky made a total of 2 Singles, 12 EPs and 2 LPs (Long Playing) vinyl record albums. Rocky and his excellent band The Fabulous Falcons toured around Malaysia and Singapore from 1965 to 1967 performing in Cathay Organisation Theatres playing to packed audiences everywhere. They also toured Thailand in September 1966. Rocky Teoh's quality power packed stage performances were a real treat to watch in the good old days.
